Patient rights and responsibilities


The facility acknowledges that the patient is informed of his rights and responsibilities.


  • Regarding the instructions issued on the rights and duties of the patient, the patient and his family were informed of all his rights, according to which the patient’s family was informed of the procedures to be followed before the patient enters the treatment program and the procedures to be followed during hospitalization until the end of the treatment program.
  • About the principle of ensuring that the patient receives the integrated rehabilitative, therapeutic service of the highest quality, all stages have been explained in the patient’s treatment plan and approved by the patient’s family with full knowledge of the procedures followed with the patient during the stages of the treatment program.

  • In reference to the principle of awareness, familiarity, and knowledge of the systems and policies used in dealing with his condition, the center is committed to providing appropriate services to the patient based on the package chosen by the patient’s family and specifying the services provided.
  • Obtaining all necessary information related to his condition during and after providing the service.
  • He has the right to know the treatment plan prepared for him, discuss it, find out the alternatives and complications with the treating physician, and the names of each member of the treating team.   • Refuse to meet anyone unrelated to providing health care to the patient, including visits.
  • Keeping his private parts covered unless necessary for treatment, as well as preserving his safety and providing the appropriate environment for that.
  • Submit a verbal or written complaint or submit proposals that do not conflict with the quality of service provided to him and the center’s policy.
  • Obtaining information in simple language that can be understood and assimilated.
  • Obtaining a report on his health condition through the regular methods used at the center.
  • The patient's first-degree relatives (parents - brothers - wife - children) have the right to know the treatment plan prepared for him by the treating team in the event of a deterioration in his mental abilities, discuss it, find out the alternative complications and risks with the treating doctor and the names of each member of the treating team.
  • Access to any (center community services) aftercare, daycare, or halfway house (if recommended by the treating team).
  • Patients or their families must give correct and accurate information about their previous illnesses, previous hospitalizations, treatments they received, and any other topics related to their health, and answer any questions related to this regard.
